What we collect, and what we don't.

Effective TBD — set at publish. This policy explains how Beam & Bearing LLC handles information on this website, beamandbearing.com. It does not cover our separate client portal, which has its own terms.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. Providing it is voluntary — you control what you send.

Collected automatically. Our servers briefly process your IP address to protect the site — for example, to rate-limit submissions and prevent abuse. We use no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking technologies on this website.

How we use information

We use what you submit only to review and respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether we are a fit, and communicate with you about your project. We use technical information only to operate and secure the site.

How we share information

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. A few service providers process information on our behalf to run the site:

  • Resend — delivers our email (your inquiry to us, and a confirmation to you).
  • Deno Deploy — hosts the website and its infrastructure.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data retention

We keep inquiry emails as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then delete them when no longer needed. Technical rate-limit data is transient and expires automatically (about one hour).

Security

We protect the site with HTTPS/TLS encryption, a strict Content-Security-Policy, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us to access or delete the inquiry you submitted by emailing [email protected]. We honor reasonable requests.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version; material changes will be reflected here.
